can i ask what you did, because now i have the same problem and im getting really self conscious PLEASE help me i dont know what to do???
The same thing happened to me! I had a lot of sun exposure and later that night ate a mango. The following day I had irritation around the corners of my mouth. The next day it spread to my lips and the skin around the corners of my mouth. It is somewhat irritated (not sure if it's cause I keep thinking about it...). Mine isn't very obvious unless you look close up.
Exact same problem. And mine also occured right as I got to Kuwait and had some pretty heavy exposure to the sun. It also occured a day after I ate sliced up mango fruit. Unfortunately last time the conditions were the same, about a day after I ate mango and right after exposure to some intense sun (no burning either time). So I can't tell if it was mango allergy or something to do with the sun exposure. They are almost like little blisters but very tiny all around the outter edge of both lips. Slightly itchy and irritated but not really. No puss or anything like that just rough bumps. Think I'm just going to avoid raw mango fruit from here on out. Can't do anything about the sun exposure. Oh well. Not to revel in your annoying condition but I'm glad I'm not alone! :P
same thing happened to me i used to get this after using blistex or if i licked my lips alot but now it just appeared out of now were and i hav been taking care of my lips. but little tiny bumps appeared around my lips.. it is realy embarasing and if you have a bf like i do then its major super embarrasing but i would love to know how to make them dissapear i use vasaline on them every chance i get but i want it to go away faster because........MY PROM IS COMMING!!!
Same thing happened, little bumps visible close up, not sore, i queezed one and slight serum came out...poss contact dermatitis to a new oral or lip product..esp summer in dehydrated skin, lips. Or staph infection which, I believe is prolific these days...we tend to use things like toothbrush, mascara, lip balm, and share frequently..wipe product before use, and use products very short term...
i have a question kinda sorta similar to BurtsBee....
i've had these little bumps above my upper lip (and now below my lower lip) for the past few months after i started kissing my bf (like really kissing) and also after using this weird lip gloss (which was actually lip plumper). I'd like to know do you think it's cuz i started kissing or maybe an allergic reaction from the lip plumper? PLEAZ PLEAZ PLEAZ answer me, someone! I want it to go away but it just wont!
Hi,
Do they itch? Usually allergic reactions can cause this type of a response.Certain foods, particularly fruit and vegetables, can cause reactions such as itching or rashes when they touch the lips and mouth. This is called oral allergy syndrome and is a symptom of food allergy.
Or it could be due to tooth-paste or any personal care products used on the lips. This would be called Contact dermatitis.Contact dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin caused by direct contact with an irritating or allergy-causing substance (irritant or allergen). Reactions may vary in the same individual over time.
Skin lesion or rash at the site of exposure may range from redness, rash, papules (pimple-like), vesicles, and bullae (blisters).
Treatment is to first identify the trigger factors and then avoid it.You can apply a mild corticosteroid like Desonide, formulated for thin skin. This would even help if this condition is due to eczema.

I have the same problem! It happens maybe once a year, usually during the summer. I still don't know whether it is caused by sun exposure or a reaction to certain products, but sometimes it progresses into a stage where it is really red and chapped, mainly because the upper and lower lips irritate each other. Any help would be appreciated!
look up chelitis. that may be your issue
well i'm not gonna lie i have no idea what it is! but what i do know is aloe vera gel works wonders on just about any skin ailment i've ever had. i've used it on my lips before so it's safe as long as you're not using so much you end up swallowing it (and i still don't think that would be bad but just to play it safe)
so i'd suggest putting aloe on them several times a day and see what happens. just my two cents.
