Sticky Skin

I desperately need HELP!  I have a horrible skin condition.  My skin is sticky all over and there is a waxy sort of film.  My hands and feet are the worst.  It feels like soda or honey is coating my hands and feet, with a lighter feeling on the rest of my body.  My socks stick to the bottoms of my feet.  It is worse after showering, washing hands etc. I use a green kitchen scrubber on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet but it doesn't get the film off.  My skin does not absorb anything; water, lotions.  Soap seems to not wash this off my skin yet at the same time seems to stick to the film.  My hair is also affected.  It does not absorb anything, the soap seems to stick to it and not rinse off.  Same with conditioner.  And my hair is either falling out or breaking off, I'm not sure which.  I also have a coating on my toungue.  I can't taste properly.  Everything tastes bitter.  And I constantly have a bitter taste.

It began about eight months ago and has gotten progressively worse.

I also have a fingernail and toenail fungus.  I am afraid that the fungus has moved to my skin.

I went to the dermatologist for the first time yesterday and she merely gave me a prescription lotion for extremely dry skin.  This actually made the stickyness worse.  I applied it to my hands and it just sat on top of this film and became even more sticky.  I washed it off, which took two rounds of washing, and the stickyness was worse.

I feel like this sounds crazy.  It is debilitating.  I find it difficult to do much of anything because I stick to anything I touch.  And I certainly don't want to pass this along to anyone else.

Has anyone else had this?

hi everyone.. today i felt extremely happy because i finaly found all of you altogether.

first of all i had been through all the above mentioned symptoms.. but i never actually thought mold and pubic lice could be the culprits too.. but i can assure you its possible as i just found sone weird black mold in my bathroom.  about the lice thibg its hard for me to wxplain but surely can be a part to look into too..

as how i get rid of the sticky stubborn weird film on out wholebody.. i sprays it with white vineger on my body from head to toe then jump into shower. . although it cant really fix the problrm but it can solve the uncomfortable conditionfor quite some time..get a spray bottle.. fill it up with white vinegar and mix around a cup of mouth wash.. any antibacterial mouth wash will do is to make the odur lesser.. i used purple Colour LISTERIN3 or mint Oral B Mouth wash.

my guess for this problem maybe its the anti perspirant i been using for years. i mention about this is because my sticky film on my body thibg started to happen all begin from my underarm.. any of you have the same point?

you may try it as for me it cause no harm as vinegar are organic n for sure would notcausing any seriousharm to our body when we just apply on our skin. try it n let us know the outcome and do let me know if you found the way to totally get rid of this problem. tq bye

I would suggest submitting a swab of the area where it is sticky for next generation DNA sequencing. There is a test called Aperiomics Xplore-Patho. Please post your results.

Im thinking that this  Skin Condition is from within,in so Using different soaps residue removals will not treat this! Its originating from inside the body.  Something has gotten into the body, or originated from inside causing this! I get frequent doctor checkups and bloodwork all normal!

Demodex mites. I have all these symptoms and I 100% have vet confirmed demodex mites the cause a film on the skin. This is the most probable because all animals have them and even humans have them. They reside inside our hair follicle coming out to mate. They are commonly in eyebrows andashes but when you have an infestation they can be everywhere. Some animals are hard to notice on. My dog has small patches on his legs. I have been battling this over two years now. You must carpet clean weekly with amonia a d Pine-Sol. Also a heavy duty steamer like a dupray they have one for about $150 it is amazing. This has been the most expensive thing I have ever experienced. You definitely need to get on top of the carpets and furniture before next summer. Something about the summer months makes them way more active and more of them in general.

Hi,

I've been working on this problem for about 7months , I've tried everything but what seems to work is parasite mediation if you have weight loss or chronic digestive issues, then baking soda baths,,  once a day shower with  sea salt scrub,  make it yourself use  warm sea salt water to wash your face hands  this will help get rid of the sticky skin, that's not the cure the infection is still there so you must stay away from sugar and use a anti fungal cream over the counter this may sound strange but the otc  yeast infection medication is what helped me. If your male you can apply it to your skin if you can't find a fungal cream  Keep everything clean change sheets often, clothing washed bleach used for towels never share your towel !  you must keep it up.  Will  take a month or more but you'll see a difference  once you use the sea salt. I've had to use eye drops due to the infection in both eyes sticky caused my eyes to almost feel glued and would leak out and the fungus would spread to my face hair This is a fungus. It can be overcome you just need not give up,  Apple cider vinegar only the raw organic few tablespoons help with energy levels   in just a few days  get outside in the sun a few minutes if possible  way healthy foods ... I hope you all feel better. I'm now seeing the positive changes the infection is starting to fade the sticky skin is less each day eyes clearing up and other symptoms are going away...

Chloridextine baths are amazing and lime sulfur dip diluted in a bath. I am positive it is a mite causing all this

If this has happened to anyone after a contrast MRI that could be the culprit.   Gadolinium based contrast dyes are dangerous and can stay in the body way longer than what was previously thought.   There are many new studies showing this.   I started having this horrible sticky/waxy skin almost immediately after.  Yes, an apple cider vinegar bath helps but this truly is a nightmare.  If anyone has had numbness/muscle pain with it and have had GBCA...that's it.    Environmental toxins are usually the culprit for many odd skin issues.

OMG this is the mite I am infested with. This is what it is no doubt. I just commented mites earlier. My dog had them and they got in our clothes talk about a nightmare. Also mites can harbor tapeworm larva. Look it up. So lime sulfur dip in a bath chloridextine baths sea salt baths. Sauna will help. And you must eradicate them in your home. Get a good carpet cleaner use Pine-Sol and ammonia. And I also bought a dupray steamer. All of this has helped so much. The saliva and fecal matter from the mites is what causes the residue. They also will cause secondary infections.
