TCA Burn

Hey me and my partner went to get a few small genital warts removed at the health dept today. We were both given TCA treatment. anyways his lady must of messed up and used too much or something b/c his area is wayyy more dark red and inflammed and wider surface area than mine (even on places he didnt seem to have any wart).. he said she put KY Jelly on there too for some reason. is that gonna scar really bad? it looks awful... what should he do? kinda worried.  HELP!

I tried this product     trichloroacetic acid    and i got some on my normal skin!for 3 weeks its been pink as if it dried up wit a scar..  It doesnt hurt or anything now i just want this big pink spot to go away!  Is there any cream or product i can use so it can go back to my normal skin?  Plz help

Hello,
For such kind of chemical burns, wash it with fresh water. For these kind of burns; you can apply antibiotic cream such as silver sulfadiazine (Silvadene) or Neosporin ointment. He can also take oral anti inflammatory drugs for pain relief and may need topical antibiotics.  It will prevent infection and help in fast healing.
