Transferring warts from very indirect contact...

I have had a plantar wart for a year now and never thought anything of it until now. I used to walk around bare foot in my bedroom. Although I am worried about spreading the virus despite it being a small one on the bottom of my foot. Anyways I used to do my makeup sitting on my bedroom floor (which is carpet) and I remember knocking one of my face makeup products over and it coming into contact with the carpet. I did wipe the bottle and the hole where the product comes out from with a wet wipe. I want to know is, how likely is it that I could give myself facial warts by using the makeup product that came into contact with the floor? And is carpet a suitable environment  for the warts virus to live anyway?

Hello,
Warts are caused by HPV virus and virus have a short life span when living outside the human body. Hence there are less chances that your make up product got infected by HPV by a chance contact with the carpet.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
