Dots on skin?

While painting my nails, I noticed that the skin on the tops of my feet has gotten little dots on, they look slightly larger than pin pricks and are like a reddy/brown/purple'ish colour. Theyre not raised above the skin like spots or anything, like my skin is nice and smooth and doesn't itch, and there's a lot and they cover almost the whole of the top of both my feet. I've never noticed them before and think they must have only recently happened. I had a look online and it doesn't look like petechiea or anything else I can find, so I don't know what it is. Does anyone have any ideas? Should I be worried?
