What could cause scratch-like petechia?
I have these scratch-like petechiae appeared that on my tight out of nowhere. I have no symptoms at all, they virtually appeared overnight. They look exactly like a scratch, but it is not a scratch. A couple of weeks ago, the exact same thing appeared on my chest and then disappeared a few days later. Do you have any ideas what it could be? I looked it up online, but it only freaked me more.
I am a male, 29 years old. Three months ago I was diagnosed with acute sinusitis, which now became chronic..I took lots of antibiotics for that and now I have to undergo surgery for that because the medical treatment did not work (I don t know if this might be relevant).
Regarding the petechia, there is no rush, no itching, no pain, they do not disappear under pressure and this time they are bigger than the ones that appeared on my chest (the ones on the chest had the exact same scratch-like shape) - also, I did not scratch.
