What is this flower shaped rash?

The doctor diagnosed this as atopic dermatitis, but that is pretty general.
The rash has a distinctive hippie flower shaped pattern.
I have read that bacterial and fungal rashes can radiate outwards in a circular pattern.
This rash came on in 12 hours and is getting worse.
Patient has been prescribed antihistamines and steroids.
This rash has happened in the past after contact with organic cotton sheets dyed with natural vegetable dyes that were imported from India packed with moth balls containing formaldehyde.
Patient was tested for allergies but none were found.
Patient has no prior history of allergies or rashes.
Patient thinks it is caused by candida.
Does anyone have any ideas???

Hello,
Since the rash has appeared suddenly after wearing the organic clothes, hence it looks like contact dermatitis to the clothes or the moth balls kept in the box. It does not looks like a fungal infection. Keep on giving the antihistaminics and steroids that the dermatologist has prescribed. If the symptoms are severe then please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. I believe it is candida also. I get daisy type rashes when I take any meds which cause yeast overgrowth. Fungus causes some very strange things & is also a great mimic.

P.S steroids feed yeast so unless you have a definite diagnosis I would treat naturally with something which covers most pathogens. Tea tree or Manuka honey something similar which soothes most pathogens but doesn't feed yeasts. Although the honey is sweet it is said to be a cure all & good for burns which are notorious for yeasts getting a hold.Therefore it should help. It is expensive though.
