Hello,
Betamethasone is a topical steroid but 0.1 % is a low potency steroid and can be used, however the skin of penis is very thing and delicate and hence a dermatologist’s guidance should be taken before using this cream.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

I used Betamethasone valerate mixed with an antibiotic ointment on the smooth mucosa skin (not glans) for a friction burn that wouldn't heal after a month. It got much better and stated healing after just a few days use. My dermatologist winged me off of it in a week and finished up with just the antibiotic ointment for another week. I think it was mypriocin. Note, this is not the same thing as Betamethasone dipropionate and was not being place on glans nor scrotum.
mupriocin
