Hi,

Can you elaborate more on the tiny cuts? Are there other signs or symptoms present? Try to keep the area clean and dry. Avoid manipulating to prevent secondary infection. If there is progression of symptoms, presence of redness or pus, it would be best to have it evaluated immediately.

Take care and keep us posted.

I notice last saturday tiny cuts on my labia on both sides. I thought if I used Vagisil it would go away but I thought it made is worst. I can't see the doctor until the 13 of this month. Can someone help and tell me what I should do or should I just go to the ER.

Hi,

A complete sexual history is necessary for conditions involving the genitalia.

Have you been sexually active prior to the onset of these sores?

A differential for this is a fungal infection. A pelvic examination and a culture of the vaginal discharge may be able to help. A pap smear may also be helpful if you are 18 and has been sexually active.

Is the affected area itchy? Is there any profuse vaginal discharge?

Is there any pain in urination or change in urinary patterns?
