brown pigmentation near my belly button

I am 24 years old female.I have this small brown discoloration near belly button since more than a year and a half. In the start, it was small and very mild discoloration but now over a period of time it has grown a bit and i have observed that it gets a bit darker in hot weather and when a shower and rub it, it gets lighter. it is not inchy neither I have felt any pain or something, its just a smooth patch but its bothering me now so please help me what it could possibly be?

Sometimes you just get patches that are a little different in skin tone, and it's totally normal- but sometimes those patches can be indications of an issue.  To know for sure what is going on, I would head into the doctor for them to take a quick look.  It's a good sign that you have no pain and it doesn't itch, but since it just appeared and is growing, it's worth their opinion on what it is.  You can also ask for some advice on if you can address it if the patch is visually bothering you.
