My dr said it was dermititis where I was washing my hands too much and that my skin was getting thin at my at age (52).  she prescribed Halobetasol Propionate Ointment...  you put it on your hands twice a day for two weeks and it dries the blisters up. I have been dealing with this off and on for 2 years since I started helping potty train my grandkids, she said I was drying out my skin and suggested that I use Ivory soap to wash with and Aveeno that has the Eczema in it to use after washing my hands.

shaxi liangcha - It is a herbal tea that takes away the blisters on my hands.  I went to a Asian Pharmacy and they gave me this bag.  It looks like bark when you open it up.  You simmer the bark and drain it to drink the tea.  You will notice the blisters clearing up within 24 hours.   I have gone online and you can buy this tea online as well..  just type in the first 2 words on this comment. When the blisters start to come back after a couple of months i just make the tea again and it takes them away.   It works for me, I hope it works for everyone else to.. those little blisters were driving me crazy!!!

Has anyone looked into Pachyonycia Congenita (PC)?  There are several different types of PC with some having blisters, calluses, and thick yellowish nails but some may only exhibit one, two or more symptoms.  My daughter has had this since birth but at that time was only yellow nails.  Later, once she started walking started to get the blistering and calluses which are both very painful.  www.pachyonychia.org, also know as PC Project,  is the only place in the world that researches this disease.  The people here are the best in the world and care deeply about the patients and also offer free DNA testing to confirm diagnosis if PC is suspected.  I believe there are around 600 confirmed patients world wide that are registered with the PC project.  Don't know if this is what effects your son or not but maybe worth looking in to.  If you would like email me, ***@****
