I have been diagnosed With follicle infection In the mustache area Buy my family doctor. I have taken a medication All types of medication And quite a few creams for the face Bacterial creams. The follicle infection is in a dime size space in the mustache area And I've had it quite a few years about 7 or 8

I'm a be allergic to penicillin What else could I get my doctor To perscribe Or what do you recommend. It seems to go away But once I start to grow it back out it gets inflamed..

I apologize for the above post. I entered it on my iphone and it did not post they way I typed it up. This is what I wanted to post.

I think I may have this problem"folliculitis". It feels tender when I touch the hair that's going into a red bump. I pluck the hair and the next day it moves to another spot. This has been going on for a week in my mustache. If I would shave the mustache, it would look like I was shot in the upper lip by a shot gun. Will it go away on its own?? Should I go to the doctors office?

Hello,
Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin. Apply warm compresses on the bumps and keep the area clean. Drainage of the bump is done only when it becomes soft and forms a head. Take some over the counter pain reliever and consult a doctor for examination and antibiotics prescription.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
