hair loss

I am a female 44yrs and about a month ago my hair started falling. I have had blood tests done (all normal) invested in a hairvite and Vigro tonic for hairloss and thinning but still falling at an alarming rate. PLEASE HELP!!  Anything other  than corticosteriods which has many side effects such as WEIGHT GAIN!! :)

But then multivitamins contain very little iron.Iron is in two areas one in blood other is stored. Most blood tests do not give you idea about level of iron stored areas like in liver, muscle etc

Thank you so much for your response. However just had all possible tests done...Iron Hemoglobin, estrogen, thyroid, etc all absolutely normal.  Subclinical perhaps but i am taking a multivitamin for hair (hairvite) What about stress? any suggestions to stop hair falling?

Commonest cause for hair fall in women is iron deficiency. This could be subclinical despite normal blood tests.Take a course,in the meantime get your thyroid test done.
