ok....so i went to the dermatologist today and it took him about 5 mins to say that what i have is tinea versicolor. i was so happy lol :))) he gave me a shampoo and a face lotion for them the regain some sort of pigment again. and also he said that i will have to use them for the rest of my life when summer season starts.

well anyways thank you so much for your help. you're the only one that actually rested me a little for giving me the possibility of it being tinea versicolor other then vitligo.

thank you!

thank you so much for you respond.  thier small spots.. like really small. smaller then a dime size.. and like i said ive notcied them for  like a week and they gotten any bigger in size or anything. they've stayed the same.thats why i doubt its vatiligo.. even though i dont know any one with vitiligo from what i've searched  most people notcie patches in a short period of time...or maybe for my body it just hasnt been enough time for them to develop. i dont know :(

Hello,
Two possibilities are there for such depigementation.Firstly,it can be due to tinea versicolor. Tinea versicolor is caused by a fungus that lives in the skin of almost all adults. Factors that can cause the fungus to become more visible include high humidity and immune or hormone abnormalities.Treatment involves topical and oral antifungal medicines.

Second possibility is of vitiligo. It is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body. Diagnosis can be confirmed by external examination, blood tests to check skin cell count  for melanocytes and biopsy of the skin patches.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
