Why do I get a rash above me sock line after driving long distances?
My wife gets a rash on her lower shin/ankle area only after she drives a few hundred miles. She says that it doesn't itch or swell but it is worrisome. Once she gets home and doesn't go anywhere in HER car for a few days, it starts fading. As long as we're riding in my truck, she doesn't have any signs. I have a pic of it but don't know where or how to include it. Please help. Could it be a sign of gout?? She called today and said that her middle finger was swollen from the middle joint out to the end when she woke up this morning. She can hardly bend it. Said that she hadn't jammed it or anything. Thinks it may be gout.
