no hair growth

m 22 yrs female in india.. Eversince i hv been noticing no hair growth on my scalp... I hv soldier length hair n they r d same since more thn ten yrs... Even if i get them trimmed regularly,, thy just somehow grow to soldier length.. Wat sud b done??? Help plz....!!

It can be. Hypothyroidism usually affects quality and abundance of hair.

thnx a lot... Ya u r right i did wid my thyroid profile just last week n d report says i m a hypothyroid...so is it due 2 tht...??

Each hair grows and finally falls out when it reaches its full length. The full length of your hair is shoulder length. Either your hair grows very slowly, or the life of each of your hairs is short.

Do get tested for iron deficiency, and get your thyroid profile also.Treatment would be based on investigations.
