white patches / discoloration

My friend and I had sex on Sat, he used a condom but Tuesday he notices a white spot on the back of his shaft and Tuesday night it looked like part of the head was a slight white discoloration.  He has no pain, burning or anything else.  He has never had any problems before.

He only noticed it on Tues so im unsure if it was right after we had sex but the white patch was just at the bottom of his shaft and then Tues night it looks like the white patch spread to part of the head of the penis.  I'm just worried its an std or penile cancer

For how long has he noted this?

If this appeared immediately after sexual activity then a dermatitic skin condition and a fungal infection may be considered. Abrasions in the area may also cause the white discoloration. If this has been present for quite some time already then vitiligo and psoriasis may be differentials. Vitiligo and psoriasis usually involve the penile shaft and the presence of similar patches of white discolorations may increase the likelihood of these skin conditions.
