STD HELP ME PLEASE

Okay so i had sex with this girl, A week later or so I noticed redness (not perfect little circles) but more like an irregular circle that would become very itchy and more itchy if itched. If I itch it (which I try like hell not to) it will just become irritated and puffy.. a little watery. It comes and goes every few months. I obviously went to see a doctor but i do not have insurance. They gave me Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP, 0.1% welllll this just helps a little.. I need a cure. What is this? They did swabs and tests, everything came back negative.. which obviously means it is nothing super common. The girl I had sex with did have a new borne baby.. I remember confronting her and she had no idea.. She said she was clean.. I've since then lost contact with her. The itchy irritated spot allllways comes back in the same damn spot. Well recently it came back and it got itchy, I itched around it instead of on it.. which was a relief.. but now it is like I have rug burn at one spot down at the beginning, and right next to that.. it seems to be a red spot that is not itchy like it is swollen with no irritation its almost hard but not really. I think that is because I itched the hell out of that area one night when trying to sleep. The area that comes back every few months is near the tip on the right.. same spot every time. What in the hell could this be, is it possible that it could make it so I have trouble having kids in my future?

Thanks for the compliment.

Shame your doc didn't tell you what she tested you for.

The cream that you say you used, I have been on the web to find out about it and I have copied and pasted below what it says:
***************
Triamcinolone Acetonide is one of a group of drugs that mimics the actions of the corticosteroids produced naturally in the body.  Triamcinolone Acetonide cream is most often used in the treatment of severe skin conditions like eczema with symptoms such as itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling and inflammation, and which are unresponsive to less powerful corticosteroids.

It works by reducing the action of chemicals produced by the body that cause the inflammation, redness and swelling, and is sold under various trade names such as Aricin, Cinalog, Aureocort and Kenalog. Its generic name, though, is Triamcinolone Acetonide.
***********************

As the cream is an corticosteriod cream, and it has not helped you at all, then this is not the cream for your condition.

The creams I suggested - Canesten, Canesten HC are used to treat fungal yeast infections.  Trimovate is also used but not only is it a antifungal cream it is also an antibacterial.

Lotrimin cream suggested by Caryopteris is also an antifungal cream.  I am from the UK so do not know what is available where you live.  Canesten can be purchased over the counter in the UK without prescription.  But in the UK you do need a doctor's prescription for the Trimovate.

Your pharmacist may have other antifungal creams that he can recommend for purchase without a doctor's prescription.  Just ask.

I think Caryopteris meant the message that she sent for me was actually for you.  So read that and follow the advice we have given you.

Whichever antifungal cream you get to use, you will have to use it until a few days after your symptoms have cleared.  Just follow the instructions on the label.  Don't have any sex until you are sorted and cleared.

As a preventative measure use protection using latex free condoms like Caryopteris suggests.  I used to be allergic to latex condoms and I am to the hand gloves.   Don't need to use any now as it is highly unlikely that I would get pregnant at the age of 60 LOL :)     Hubby and I have been been faithful partners for the last 42 years but we used protection to stop any unwanted pregnancies.

Hope you get sorted out real soon.

Best wishes

Best wishes.

thank you very much for taking the time to respond to me, It means a lot. I will follow your direction for sure. I just wish I had medical coverage, its just hard right now. Do you know if Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP 0.1% is better or stronger than anything you suggested? because it did not work. As far as what the woman tested me for, I am not positive. I am assuming she tested for anything and everything that resembled what I have. I hope to God this goes away.. Again thank you very much for your help and your time. People like you help this world go round.

Use Lotrimin cream as directed on the tube for as long as it says.  Rub it in good each time.  Use neem soap.  Try sports underwear for sports activities to avoid chafing.  Wash all your underwear and socks and towels in hot water and put half a cup of baking soda in the water to kill fungus.  Blot the area dry after showering - don't rub.  Make sure it completely dries before putting the Lotrimin on.  Make sure condoms are non-latex.

It is difficult when something is itchy not to scratch it.  But try not to.  Says me, scratching my eczema itchy fingers!

If you keep scratching, the skin will go tough and you can damage it by scratching and if you haven't already got it you could end up getting Lichen Planus.  This is not a contageous skin problem - so don't worry about that.  Just uncomfortable.

What you may have is a fungal problem.  Don't use any soaps because that dries the skin and irritates it.  Use plain water, baby wash or gentle unperfumed soaps.  Don't use biological washing detergents and wear cotton underwear, not nylon.  Cotton helps the skin to breathe.  Don't wear tight clothing.  Candida Albicans thrives in warm moist areas and can get out of hand if your diet consists of too much sugar.

You don't say what sort of tests you had.  But redness, itching and sorness on the genitals can also be from Candida Albicans or Thrush.

Most of the time, candida infections of the mouth, skin, or vagina occur for no apparent reason. A common cause of infection may be the use of antibiotics that destroy beneficial, as well as harmful, microorganisms in the body, permitting candida.  It can also be passed on through sexual contact.

You should go back to the doctor for a different cream.  If you cannot afford to do that go to the pharmacist tell him the problem and ask for a recommended cream to treat it.  If you feel too embarassed to do that, then you can purchase Canesten or Canesten HC cream which will help to treat the problem.  These creams are antifungal.

Trimovate, if you can get that, is a good cream as it is antifungal and antibacterial, but in the UK you can only get it on prescription.

You can also get Thrush in the mouth, which is treated by an antifungal mouth gel which can be purchased without prescription.

Drink live yogurt to get your body flora right.
Make sure you drink plenty of water to keep well hydrated.

Don't have unprotected sex until your your condition has cleared and you have no symptoms for at least a week.  Otherwise you will be passing it on and then probably be getting it back again.  Men can have thrush and get no symptoms at all.   If you do not have a regular partner, it is recommended that you use a condom to protect yourself and that of any sexual acquaintances.

If you want to learn more about Candida Albicans you can get more information off the web.

Best wishes
