hello doc, i am male 24 yrs old, till date i have had only one sexual encounter  16 months ago and that was with condom , however my condom broke in between and i withdrew, and finished up orally. after this event i got myself tested for hiv and syphillis and came out negative, though it drove me crazy. till now i have nvr been into any kinda sexual activity, except i masturbate quiet often 3 or 4 times a week. now the problem is a  week ago i noticed a small red bump on my penis head dont knw how it came there but it wasnt inchy or painful but was just there. after few days again after masturbation another red bump popped up at a differnt placeon the glan itself and this time i felt little irritation and pain and also my penis head turned red and irritated. plz help is it some kind of std that i may have contacted  16 months ago from my only sexual encounter till date.?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to seborrheic dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp under the nose or anywhere on face. Topical antifungals and mild steroids are the usual treatment and combination of the two can be used to treat stubborn patches. Oral antifungal drugs and immunomodulators such as tacrolimus and pimecrolimus are used in very severe cases. The other possibilities are of eczema, lupus erythematosus or dermatitis. Best would be to consult a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
