vaginal itching

i'm 18, never had sex, only masturbated. after days of continuous masturbating, my vagina developed an irritation. It has been itching for two weeks now. the area around the vagina especially the sides near the thighs has dry, broken and irritated skin. is this some kind of an infection or simply irritation?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to dermatitis skin or chafing skin. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antihistaminics like Benadryl and Claritin are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist and get fungal infection ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

If you have kind of odd smell or discharge, you might have given yourself a yeast infection if your hands or whatever you were using to please yourself wasn't clean.

I have yeast infections sometime,s and they don't always have a discharge or odd smell, so this is why I'm suggesting to you this even fi you don't have anything like that.

Buy an over-the-counter yeast infection cream, and use it. It will releive the itch and soreness, and will likely make it go away.
