Hello,

Firstly,it can be due to tinea versicolor. Tinea versicolor is caused by a fungus that lives in the skin of almost all adults. Factors that can cause the fungus to become more visible include high humidity and immune or hormone abnormalities. Treatment involves topical and oral antifungal medicines.

For the small red bumps, it can be due to small irritated hair follicles causing folliculitis.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have these like little white bumps on my forearms, and on my wrists, al I have white spots and patches on my neck, a little bit on my shoulders, not so many on my back, and there are these like brownish spots on my chest, and after I take showers, all the spots seem to get dry.. On my neck, the patches get dry too and it seems like a blackish layer of skin appears near the patches, also all the white spots seem to get whiter everytime I'm done with the shower... If anyone knows what it can be.. Please tell me!!! I am like really scared.. Please answer back

Hello,
It is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis without examination but it can be tinea versicolor which is a common superficial cutaneous fungal infection. Although in infants it has an atypical presentation but still it needs to be evaluated. Other than that you need to get it examined from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.
