Dark patches on different parts of my body

Hello,

I am 34 years old. The problem I am mentioning here is something which has been there since about 20 years or so. It happened when i was in high school as an allergic reaction to some medicine i had taken during that time.
My eye lining(the thin line where the roots of eye lids are) became darker and it appeared like I have applied an eye liner. So my fellow students and teachers started asking me if I have applied an eye liner. That is when  we realised there's a problem and went to a doctor. So the doctor did an examination of my entire body. And he found that my lips have also become very dark like it appears like i'm a chain smoker, even though i havent smoked in my life. The doctor also examined my genitals and noticed a dark patch on the tip of my penis beneath the foreskin. All these three discoloration has stayed on till now.
I lost track of what actually caused this allergic reaction. I still do not know if this discoloration can be gotten rid of.
Please advice.

What did the doctor state he thought the issue of your skin in different areas darkening was?  Are they running any tests or just saying this is a result of the reaction from years ago- even though you are having new symptoms?
