Skins reaction after sex

Long story short, I was dating this guy recently for about 6 months. We were both tested for STD's and came up clean however my pap revealed I have HPV. We first used condoms, but after we were both tested we stopped using them. During our whole relationship my ex would get these little red bumps on his shaft, pubic area and sometimes his belly. He went to the doctor and the Dr. said it seems to be a fungal infection of some sort? He gave him some cream that would work but then of course would come back again. I also forgot to mention that during my pap they told me I had BV and they gave me a prescription to get rid of it. Could the reoccurring BV be causing this reaction for my ex? I also know it's me and not him now because I just recently slept with someone else with protection of course, but he recently contacted me with the same concerns, same red spots and same area, slightly itchy. I am really concerned about this and would just like some answers, I have an appt on Tuesday but am rather worried at the moment. Also, the red spots are raised, just flat, looks like irritation. I'm not sure what to think of it??!!!?

Hello,
Warts do not appear so suddenly and take a long time and maybe treatment also to go away . the other possibility is of irritated hair follicles causing folliculitis and contact dermatitis to the cosmetics, soaps and detergents that you may be using. Please discuss these possibilities also with your doctor.

Hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thanks for your reply. I recently went to the Dr. for this issue and she said it was dermatitis? She knows I have HPV and didn't mention a thing about it. She also took a sample of "me" down there and said I had another yeast infection and I think it's from the soaps i'm using or even possibly my scented laundry detergent. My partners have been checked and they are not warts or tumors. I also forgot to mention that these "reactions" happen about 24 hours after having sex. If they actually were warts or tumors, would they appear that quickly? Thanks again!

Hello,
Bacterial vaginosis results from an overgrowth of normal bacteria in the vagina. It wont cause any contagious skin disease but since you have HPV, so spread of genital warts can be possible. Warts are tumours or growths of the skin caused by infection with Human Papillomavirus (HPV).They are contagious when in contact with the skin of an infected person.

Your partners need to get evaluated for HPV. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted on how you are doing.
