Skin Rash

I have been diagnosed with folliculitis, which is a skin infection.  From what I have read it can be caused by Diabetes.  Has anyone had this or know if it is cause by diabetes?  Thanks in advance

I too am experiencing skin problems but they started after I started taking insulin. I don't know if it's the insulin or the diabetes or other health problems that is causing that. My doctor prescribed Erythromiacin topical solution and it seems to clear the bumps up before they they come to a head and get infected. If you start getting red flakey patches I can tell you what does and doesn't work for that also.

Other factors that increase the risk of folliculitis include:

Diabetes
Chronic skin conditions, such as eczema or dermatitis
Wearing tight clothing
Living in unsanitary conditions
Heat and humidity
Staphylococcal infection in the nasal passages
