Thanks for the replies ladies!!!

I had to fast from midnight, no water also. I didn't feel anything at all. It just felt normal other than baby being super active from the sugary drink.
Waiting on my results.. Fingers crossed

I was told to fast before mine, I passed mine. It wasn't as bad as everyone said. I didn't get sick or lightheaded and it wasnt as gross as everyone made it sound. Baby got really active like if you drink juice or a soda. Best of luck.

I'm going for mine tomorrow. I'm from Ireland. Our advice was to eat a normal diet for the three days before hand as you normally would or your only fooling yourself and putting risk to baby. We have to drink 500mls of lucozade and fast 12 hours before hand

My doctor told me I could eat a bland breakfast.   I avoided carbs and sugars and stuck to protein.  I had a scrambled egg, sausage,  and milk.   My sugar ended up being super low for the test.

2 days isn't going too alter your results.  If you have it you have it.  My Best suggestion is go in fasting (carbs will raise your blood sugar quick, protein will raise it as well but at a slower rate).  I know more people who fail the 1 hr test because their doctor aid they could eat certain things.   I told my midwife I was just going to be at the lab when they opened (7am) and I wouldn't eat before hand and she said that was fine.
