165 is higher than they want.  Good that it is being found now and you can get to manage it well.

it is worth the effort.  I had 2 diabetic pregnancies that I had to work very hard to manage (with insulin and diet), but totally worth it  now I have two very healthy daughters.

let us know how you go with the additional tests.

For now, it would be great if you cut sugars / fruit juice etc from your diet, and focus on eating plenty of non-starchy veges and meats, while limiting carbs.  A walk or other exercise after each meal will also help to keep sugars in check.

I just started a diet. I failed my first hour, passed the third. Had to retake and failed again...so Diet and blood sugar checks are now my life. Just started this week. My struggle is finding recipes so I dont get board eating the same things all the time. This is my first...I am 31w2d
