Hi I'm pregnant and I am a diabetic I have to take medication for it and check my sugar after every meal, I was wondering if this will last I do not want to have diabetes for the rest of my life.

Gestational Diabetes (or diabetes that is only present during pregnancy) usually stops after you have given birth.
Your body will stop producing insulin due to the high amounts of estrogen to provide for the growing fetus enough nutrients for development.
