Nuts (in moderation), eggs, cheese, meats, low carb snacks.
Do not drink diet soda. Many diabetics do but it is horrible for your health. Diet soda contains aspartame and aspartame is toxic.
For me, cheese or a slice or 2 of lean meat. A small dill pickle with a tiny bit of cream cheese wrapped in a piece of turkey or lean ham is good too. Nuts are great, if you can have just a handful. I can't. I'm addicted to them. LOL
