TSH & HbA1C

I find my HbA1C going up whenever my TSH goes down below normal. Is there a possibility that a low TSH  causes high HbA1C?

I am:

A type 2 Diabetic who got Diabetes because of uncontrolled Hypothyroidism.

Currently on both Diabetes and Thyroid medication

Hi,

Thank you for the reply,

My TSH fell from .44 to .09 (Iu/ml) in two months. The HbA1C shot up from 8.9 to 10.10! Bloody nuisance!

Have emailed my endocrinologist.

I hate being a diabetic, one has to be forever wary of the dangers on Neuropathy, nehropathy, etc.

Insulin resistance appears when thyroid levels are too low or too high. So, yes, a low TSH can cause higher than normal blood sugar levels.
