Is there a medication for Diabetes Insipidus other than Desmopressin? The headaches as a side affect are dibilitating.

I'm finally weening off this medicine-16 years later. they actually found out I do NOT have diabetes insipidus (despite me running to the bathroom every 15 minutes). Instead they are giving me a pill Vesicare-I start it tonite. I agree, the headaches are horrible. I get facial migraines and am extrmely sensitive to light, sun, smells and loud noises. You?

As far as I know there are seven other medications. Have you tried a Google search with the words diabetes insipidus medication? Have you asked your doctor? Have you asked your local pharmacist?
