Does the hospital where you had your surgery have on staff a diabetic nutritionist/dietitian? That is who you should be discussing your weight gain issues with. He/she can provide information on what you should eat, portion size, and frequency. Lastly, if "i have constip" means constipation, then talk with your doctor.

Hello,

most important for diabetic is to control you blood sugar levels to keep them excellent.  By excellent they should ideally be in the range of 80 - 120, but not more than 140.  To gain weight please make sure you eat a good amount of healthy minimally  processed protein and fat.  Don't eat too much carbohydrates  (particularly fruits, sweets, breads and rice, juices) as this will make your blood sugars rise too much.

Take regular daily exercise of at least 30 minutes continuous.
