I have to pay for the insulin myself, is there any help out there to pay for Lantus SoloStar for those who don't have prescription insurance?

Many of the drug manufacturers have help for people that cant afford there medication (in the US cant say for other country's). Call the manufacturer and ask.

Or you can try the older cheaper insulins (like Humalin-N for long acting, and humalin-R for intermediate acting.
