I get a throbbing aching pain in my right leg as well especially when it gets cold or the weather makes a drastic change. The ache can be a bit unbearable at times. I recently started using a heating pad (large so it wraps around my leg) and within about 30 minutes the pain subsides. Ever person is an individual but it works for me so figured it is something you could try out to help at times. :)
Thanks for your reply I will make an appointment to see my doctor.
Having blood sugar levels "mostly below 10" is unhealthy. You really want them closer to 5.5 mmol/l [99 mg/dl]. That said, being a t2 diabetic it is possible you are feeling the onset of diabetic neuropathy, nerve damage brought on by constant high blood sugars. It may on the other hand be an early warning sign for some other hidden disease only testing can uncover - narrowing of the arteries, sciatic nerve damage, FMS/MPS [Fibromyalgia and Myofacia Pain Syndrome], etc. Go see your doctor b4 it really gets bad. Good luck -
