Hi,
for the benefit of everyone here 9 = 162 and 17 = 306. Multiply or divide by 18 to convert units.
Considering that normal blood sugars should be in the range of 3.8 - 7.7 (70 - 140, and ideally in the middle of this range), your sugars are high.
If these levels are unusually high for you, then I would suggest you see a dr to find a cause. Common causes can be infection of some sort.
If these levels are not unusual for you, then I would suggest you work with your diabetes educator to appropriate increase your insulin dose and / or reduce the amount of carbs you eat.
Hope this helps.
Yes your BG is too high. BG over 7.8 is doing damage to your body. taking baby steps to bad consequences.
fasting BG under 5.6
after eating under 7.8 is ideal
minimum BG 3.9
Carbohydrates raise BG
illness raise BG
stress raise BG
exercise lowers BG (non strenuous)
diabetic drugs lower BG (some drugs like steroids can raise BG)
insulin lowers BG
If your BG is too high those are the things to use to lower BG. Balance them out.
