Stomach pain

I am a T2 diabetic small frame small build 110 lb.  I have recently started taking Lantus at night and Humalog before meals.  After about a month my stomach pain was unbearable.  It began with chills at night, severe dry heaves, (unable to throw up due to reflux surgery) and diahhrea.  My doctor said he thought I had a virus.  I could not figure out what was going on.  I usually gave myself shots in the upper stomach area, so I moved the shots to my legs with no improvement. I even tried Levemir, but after two days the pains came back. I stopped all shots and the pain and other symptoms went away.  Is there an insulin that doest not cause stomach pain, chills, and vomiting?

Call your local pharmacy and schedule a consultation with the Pharmacist. Also, ask your doctor for a referral to an Endocrinologist, a diabetes specialist, as your current doctor appears to be playing you as a guinea pig; try this and if it doesn't work we'll try something until we find something that works, maybe.
