why am i doing this

I'm trying to get through my castlight assessment and need to fill this out.  My question is "Why do I need to do this to get 25.00 bucks of my insurance?"

Hello.  Well, I'm not sure about your particular insurance, but my insurance has things they ask me to do.  Sometimes it may seem like 'busy work' but in reality, being invested in your own health will keep you healthier.  They know this but know people don't always like to do it, so they put on an incentive to help.  MedHelp has trackers for all sorts of things which help me to keep on top of my own health information.  Thinking about it, keeping record of it, etc. helps me see what I need to work on or catch any changes that I might miss in the business of day to day life.  I also like the forums here where I can ask questions about what I or a family member is experiencing to get opinions on what might be going on or what might help.  So, that's why insurance companies like to get people involved in their own health as you are being asked to do.
