I've read this a dozen times, and I don't see an actual cure, but merely a low carb crash diet to reduce body mass and lower blood glucose. Control, not a cure.
Hi there,
Could you kindly provide this community where you heard such info which is wonderful and up lifting. Thanks
The study that you read of is correct. However, such a limited calorie must be done under close medical supervision (not just doing it at home without any input) and is not easy to do safely.
The best way is lower carb diet, regular exercise and weight management. This will go a long way towards preventing Type 2 diabetes and minimising the difficulty controlling it for people who already have diabetes.
As of today there is no cure for diabetes. There is a good chance many people can reverse their condition through lifestyle changes by first adhering to the basics; a diabetic nutrition low in carbohydrates, maintaining normal body weight, and performing daily exercise. One has to continue to do all three or health issues can return. ie; meaning one can not return to the lifestyle that made them diabetes in the first place. This does not represent those with autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders, or those born with a diabetic gene. HTH
I think that is called "controlling diabetes with diet". if they go back to there old habits so will the diabetes. thats not a cure, that is control
