Thank you again for the informative replies! :)
When i get to see my doctor, i will ask about a possibly new pill, like normal Metformin.
And then it seems i also should eat less carbohydrate..i do not know why so much was prescribed for me, maybe because i am too skinny :s
Thx for the advice for the book!
With my 1 hour results from the OGTT i was not sure if the 214.2 mg/dl could mean diabetes because it is above 200, or this is only valid, if it is normal food not the 75 gramm glucose, but then it seems that was also an alerting sign :s
Greetings!:)
Eucreas contains Metformin a very safe and well known drug. However Eucreas also contains vildagliptin A drug that the FDA (US drug regulating department) wont allow vildagliptin in the us as in animal trials it produce's skin leas ions and Kidney impairment. I would consider going to only Metforman.

180 gr of carbs is a lot of carbs I eat under 60 a day.
My understanding is any BG over 200 is diabetic your 1 hour is over 200.
Time to take the bull by the horn. reduce carbs exercise get a meter and test before and 1hour after a new meal to see how that meal effected your BG.
a book to read.. Think Like a Pancreas... I forget who wrote it
find an online diabetes forum, there are plenty around and ask questions.
Thank you for your reply!:)
I am on a 180 gramm carbohydrate diet, it is low carb diet. But actually i eat less then it because that is too much for me. And i am quite skinny (have a BMI of 16)
And i take Eucreas as medicine
And i have had an OGTT (75 gramm) after my 118.8 mg/dl result and then these were the results.
fasting: 115,2 mg/dl
1 hour 214.2 mg/dl
2 hour 162 mg/dl
What "diet" have you been on, since its carbohydrates that raise BG ! A low fat high carb "diet" just makes the pancreas work harder than it needs too! and can cause the pancreas to quit working earlier.
The diet you need to be on is a low carb diet.
