UNCONTROLLED diabetes can lead to erectile dysfunction (both men and women).  diabetes has no direct link to reduction of desire.  However being uncontrolled will lead to complications, that lead to depression, that will have an effect on desire.   So control your diabetes and have a great sex life!  :)

Here’s some advice from the MedHelp website and our Sugar Sense app on diabetes and your sex life.

For women: http://www.medhelp.org/diabetes/articles/Better-Sex-with-Diabetes/1760

For men: http://www.medhelp.org/diabetes/articles/Secure-His-Sexual-Health/1758

You can find this on the app by going to the home screen, and clicking the menu bar in the upper left corner. Tap Health Guide, then scroll to Stay Well. Scroll down for "Secure His Sexual Health" and "Better Sex with Diabetes". Hope this helps!
