Anyone with the same symptoms?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has the same symptoms as me.  First of all it started back in Nov. 01.  My symptoms are as follows: When I eat, even a small amount of food, or any kind of food, I get nauseated and a full feeling. The symptoms usually last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. I also have chronic constipation. I have lost about 18 pounds because of not being able to eat that much. Other then not being able to eat I feel fine. I have been to the Doctor and he did an endoscopy, several blood tests, a gastric emptying test,(all of them have come back normal) and a ultrasound of my gallbladder.  They found a gallstone, and I have had my gallbladder removed.  He thought maybe that was my problem, but so far I still have the same symptoms.  I am currently taking 10mg Amitriptyline (for about a week,)and symptoms are still there.  I also tried Dicyclomine and that did nothing.  I will visit the Doc. in about 3 weeks to let him know how I am doing.  If anyone has or had these symptoms or has an idea of what it could be, Please let me know.  Thank you, Julie

If these symptoms continue after a couple weeks after your surgery, I would talk to your gastroenterologist about pancreatitis.  It is a little premature at this point to concern yourself with that unless the symptoms continue or worsen.  You are probably still just reacting to the healing process caused by your recent surgery.

Hi Julie!

I had the same symptoms before my GB surgery, but it went away after. From a previous post I read, you and I are within a day or two of post op.

Sorry to hear that your symptoms arent gone. The only thing I am fighting right now is some pain off and on under my right rib cage.
