Make sure you tell the tech about this before. I had a CT with iodine and contrast. Then had one later with just contrast. I'm not sure what the difference between the two are.
My concern is the bad reaction to iodine I suffered during the first one. I had a CT without contrast which identified these medical concerns and now they want one with contrast. But wouldn't the outlook be the same.
I had chest pain and a raising heart after the injection and had to be given a shot to help. With a cardiac concern I don't feel comfortable to do this again.............
I've had a CT come back showing an ovarian cyst. I think for the kidneys an IVP is what you want. I'm sure a CT would show enlargement. The IVP would show any kind of blockage
