Stomach Complaints

I am 50 yrs old and have had recurring stomach acid and irritable bowel for many years. Blood tests and stool tests have not revealed anything over the years. I travel a lot and the problem is always much worse when away from home, even though I am very choosy and careful in my food and drink intake. My diet consists of mainly fruit, grains, and vegies, with some meat and fish. Can you help?

maybe you both could try further investigation, barium meal, barium enema or if necessary a colonoscopy. i have suffered from crohns disease for over 10 years, and give my deepest sympathy to anyone suffering from any form of stomach complaint.i know how debilatating it can be,however when the problem has been identified at least you then can begin to battle it.so dont rest until youve got some answers from you consultants,GP, health workers! good luck both.
