I am a 43 year old female and for the past six months I have been feeling movements in my stomach. I also have excess gas all the time. I may be lactose intolernce. I have also had a pain in my upper left side for the past 4 months. I have cramping tonite in my stomach so I took Prevacid and tylenol. I had ovarianc cyst removed at 19 and occasionally I have cyst but they go away according to ultrasounds. I had last ultrasound in Jan. My grandmother 76 and my uncle 68 was diagnose with colon cancer at those ages. I know you're going to say go to a dr,but could you tell me anything? Thanks so much
When you say you feel movement..is it the same sensation as the movement as in pregnancy? If so, I had this same sensation and I had intestional blockage. I had 13 inches of my small intestine removed three years ago. I was misdiagnosed as having IBS by three doctors before I saw a specialist.
I began having chest pains (not a sharp pain, but a feeling like someone was squeezing my heart or sitting on my chest), weird stomach noises (sounds like stomach growling when hungry and felt like some movement, but no associated 'hunger pain'), and excessive gas. I tied it back to a diet drink Crystal Light (aspartame) I had started drinking 2 months before in a 16-tub warehouse sized pack. The chest pains totally dissipated over a 6-week period of avoiding aspartame. The stomach noises lessened, but haven't totally gone away and the gas unfortunately has continued. I have a gastroent. appoint in Feb.
