weight loss - no loss

I know part of my breathing problem comes from being so over weight. My diet is pretty strict and I started an exercise program 6 months ago. The 1st month I did lose 5 pounds and a few oz. but I have been averaging less than a pound a month since that time..I want to start using a diet product because I'm totally discouraged and the lack of loss is depressing me. I have heard some excellent things about a product called QuickSlim and am thinking of using it as it has no stimulants in it. Has anyone had good results using a product like this and why is the diet and exercise not working for me????

Hi Beechy:

Maybe you are not losing weight because you are not drinking enough water.  I know that drinking plenty of water to flush your system out is one key to losing weight.  Also there are other diet products out on the market that too contain no stimulants.  Body Vision works great to help me curb my appetite. If you want more information on it, please just email me.  I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.  Have a GREAT weekend.  ***@****

Hi,

BaseballMom is correct is what she says about getting enough water.  Also may I add, that sometimes your body goes into starvation mode and you won't lose anything for months and months, then suddenly it all drops off.  Don't get discouraged.  It will happen for you.  Also remember to watch your caloric intake too, as well as the fat intake.  That is important.  Too many calories and you won't lose anything.  Even if your cutting way down on your fat intake.  When I was better off in health I worked out 5 days a week for 1 1/2 hours a day on the weight machines and treadmill at 12% incline.  I was taking in no more than 35 grams of fat a day and no more than 1250 calories.  I lost all at once then leveled off for MONTHS and didn't lose another ounce for at least 4 months.  Also remember than muscle weighs more than fat!  :-)  You could be working your body into GREAT muscle tone without realizing it.

Good luck to you.  You can do it!
