Enzyme Levels?

A few questions about enzyme levels. I am 39 years old. I work full time and support my brother and his family.(right now he is a hemopheliac with hep C from a transfusion 25 years ago.He also has stage two cirrios of the liver.)His wife has Hep C also the two boys ages 9&11 knock on wood do not. My question is. I found out two years ago that I have Hep C also. I imediately visited a Gastroenterolgy dr. He put me on interferon for one year. That was a very rough year. From what I gather there was no change the disease did not progress nor did it get better Darn! My history is not one to be proud of.As a teen I drank and smoked and screwed around was extremely active in sports. Then the family business of 60+ hours a week and stress. Then drug use mild at first eventually heavily and IV.Moms death combined with my alredy esculating drug use was the the begining of the end. Prison and drug programs returned me to a productive being.Six years clean and a mortgage car payments dr visits and work is where I'm at now. The history is good therapy for me but what I truly am concerned about is my ENZYME level I just had another blood work done and the level is 366. To me its just a number for the most part I feel fine. Is this Bad? Does stress cause it to elavate? I do know alchohol is bad. But is A sam adams once or twice a week out of the question because I do have A beer with my Sunday dinner and the ocassional night out which doesnt happen often(once a month). Or is there other things that cause it to elavate? I smoke a pack a day. My diet isnt the best either. Fiberevery night

I think "uncleDan" (above) was talking about liver enzymes, because he mentioned hepatitis.
I've got alot of bookmarks for lab tests. Maybe some of these will help you.

Here's a very general page that describes some blood tests:

Here are three great pages:

Hi uncleDan
Do you know which one of your enzymes it was, that was 366?
(Example- AST, or ALT, or GGT, or Alkaline Phosphatase, etc.)
