JAUNTICE AT TWELVE YEARS OLD POSSIBLE?

Dear Friends,

My nephew has been admitted in a local childrens hospital the last 13 days already with no indication yet of the exact illness, other than the probality of symptoms of JAUNTICE. He is 12 years on (D.O.B Sep 17 1990).

Is it possible to have JAUNTICE at 12 years old!

Thank you

Well, if he has tested negative for most liver disease, test for mono, which can cause that sometimes although usually mild. He also might need a liver biopsy.
