this might be a long shot but my 17yr old son has the same symptoms for 3 years along with many other problems. We saw several doc and no one could find the source. His liver enzymes are always elevated when he gets very ill with vomiting, and what was thought to be chest pain but was really the liver.
Ech time this happens he ends up in the hospital with dehydration. After years of searching we found out he has Lyme disease. Its possible and something you should check out. Depending on where you live. We were cammpers for 10 years in the UP and that is  where he came to be bitten and we didnt even know this. Lyme is extreamly dibilatating and will cause you symptoms you never thought and that the docs will never think to look into.
look up lyme on the net and you will find much info about it.
It saved my sons life

I concur with Baseball Mom, you may have the doctor test you for pancreatitis.  I have cp, and I, too, have itching quite a lot, especially my ankles and the tops of my feet.  This occurs when I am not taking pain meds, so I know it's not caused by that.  It usually only occurs at night and is not that bothersome.  The other symptoms are, though, so I suggest you talk to your doctor.

Sounds like you might have Pancreatitis.  Test will show abnormal liver function as well as weight loss.  It might be wise to ask your doctor about this.  I'm not sure about the itching though.  Best of luck to you.
