2 questions about Cushings

Hello.  My dog Cushing's and low thyroid.
1. She has been on Cephalexin and Cipofloxacin pills, Pyoben shampoo for spaph skin infections.   I think we are on our fifth bottle, and still have some infection.  Any suggestions?  She doesn’t seem to have allergies.
2. People say their dog pees in the house a lot.  Is this because the bladder gets weak or people don’t let them out to pee 7x’s more since they drink 7x’s more?

Sorry so long.  Haven’t found this searching the internet.  Thank you  KateTia

“just diagnosed with Cushing’s. I have come to realize she has had this syndrome for well over a year.
Horrible Cushing’s or things that have happened. April 2010 she has a bump on her elbow and her elbows don’t have hair.  Nov 2010, she broke 2 teeth on a hard dog bone.  August 2011, a extremely fast growing soft lump grow on her neck.  With in 24 hours it was under her neck and mouth.  It was Ecoli and Pasturela both contagious bacteria’s.  Tia has peed the bed and floor a few times.  Early September, she had no urine infection but I took and take the water away 1 ½ hours before bed.  Later September 2011, the vet discovered she has Hypothyroid.  She is on meds for that.  October, she has a skin infection.  Won’t go away, tested it, it is staph.  Mostly looked scaly and one part was pustuly.  Weeks of pills and benzol peroxide shampoo, it won’t go away.  I told my vet again about the high quantity drinking.  He test for Cushing’s…. Here we are.  Her Liver is bad also.  Well that explains a lot.  That explains why my Black dog has some reddish tints to her hair for over a year.  It wasn’t growing; it was bleaching from the sun.  In Ohio no beach involved.  That’s way her shaved neck from August has not grown yet.”
