was told by Asher that my Shih tzu has a liver diease

Paisley was herself about 10 days ago, then she started leaving her tongue hanging out all the time. she got some kind of food allergy according to her vet all over her ears and feet. then she started to not eat and just sleep and her hips got week and she couldn't get up . We were in the process of moving and all this brought her from playing to crashing in a matter of a few days. I took her to Asher animal hospital and did a blood panel. After tests came back he said she has a liver disease and its to far along to make it ok...Not  what I wanted to hear. The lady vet said I should put her down before it gets worse. She wasn't in any pain and I care so much for my little girl, I said I'll bring her in when its time, her reply was you'll be back in 8 hours  and want us to do it . Through the tears and being so upset, all I heard was the horrors of what is going to happen, she's on denamarin and cephalexin. It's been about 4 days so I decided to take her to Shasta dam thinking our time together is coming to a close. She went  from sleeping all the time to OH Boy when she saw where we were. walking all over peeing on everything now she's eating and drinking peeing and pooping, still sleeping a little more than I like. ( My question is) Is she getting better or is this how it is when a pet is put on these drugs? I made a copy of her lab reports but wasn't sure if you wanted to see them or if all this is how it goes in stages. I want her to live forever with medication if there's.  something out there that will do wonders, They said there was nothing I can do, and I can't handle that. just the crying alone is killing me. If this is going to progress what do I look for and  any idea how long will we have. I don't want her to suffer just because It hurts so much just thinking about this, I can't be selfish.  I'm just wanting for this to be something else like a bad dream
