Fluid in my Dog's face.

This morning before leaving to work, I noticed that the side of my Dog's face was swollen. He is still acting the same as if nothing is wrong and he still has an appetite. Other than the swelling he is still the same dog so I gave him some Benadryl. When I came home tonight he seems to have improved greatly but there is still some swelling and a fluid filled sack on the side of his face. What is this fluid filled sack and what should I do?

Sounds like a insect bite or  a hematoma.Either way I would put a clean towel or or cotton wool soaked in hot salt water on the swelling Not too hot  as you might  burn him ..... the swelling will come to a head or be reabsorbed back into the body.Do that about 10 min a time every hour until it shows improvement.
If it bursts or leaks out make sure you put some antiseptic ointment on it and keep it clean as you can.
Same as a big blister really. You do not say how big this swelling is.So thinking it is about up to size of a marble for this treatment to be safe.Other than that he might need a course of antibiotics .what ever the outcome.
What ever you do make sure everything is  spotlessly clean including hands.
